Whether you are entering therapy for the first time or have been engaged in the process before, it is a courageous step to take.  My practice is built on keeping things real, down to earth and practical.  With over 17 years of experience working in the field of mental health, I’ve learned that I dislike the therapy jargon (not to mention stigma) probably as much as the next person.  So I prefer to keep things simple and honest.

About Me: I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Science from the University of Vermont in 2006 and my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Denver in 2011.  I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (#11936) and a Certified Professional Person (#502) in the state of Montana.  I have provided expert testimony in civil commitment proceedings for over three years and have extensive experience working in community mental health.  I have experience working with adolescents, families, individuals with dual diagnoses, chemical dependencies, criminal justice involvement and incarceration.  My work has been focused on treating individuals with severe mental health conditions, providing crisis stabilization services and court evaluations in the Gallatin Valley and surrounding communities. I am nationally certified in Anger Management, as well as Domestic Violence and am currently focused on establishing a Domestic Violence treatment program that promotes a coordinated community response.
